Mad Bomber Hat

Mad Bomber Hat

I've had a few trapper-style hats before, but this one is by far the best. It's super insulated and very warm. The fur trim lining is nice and soft, and feels good against the cheek bones, a must for wearing the flaps down due to the wind chill or sporting ski goggles. Personally, I feel like my Russian accent is much better with the hat on (and with the flaps up).

The hat isn't itchy either, a drawback of many things wool. I just put this hat through the ringer (shoveling snow, running errands, taking the dog out) over a stretch of days where the temps were in the single digits and below zero in northern Michigan, but my head wasn't cold at all, nor was my face. The buffalo plaid pattern goes great with my Grey Canada Goose Chiliwack Bomber too.

I ordered a Large because I wear a 7 3/8 size fitted hat (I like my fitted's slightly big), and it fits perfectly.

I got mine from LL Bean. $50.00.
